The Great Muddy Escape

We had several major events take place this weekend, one of which was a "mud-run" called The Great Muddy Escape. The race took place at General Sam's Off-Road park just outside of Huntsville. All funds collected were put toward the local YMCA. There was a live band, lots of food, moonwalks, slides, and stuff for the kids. Participants had the option of running the 5k race (no thanks) or the family fun run. (You can guess which one we opted for). Lucas and I ran with our good friends the Sullivans. Nicole, Cody, Skylarr, Lucas, and I had a blast! It was cold, but we came adequately prepared with proper underclothing. And, after we got in the sunshine it wasn't bad at all.
